I'm Writing a Tea Time Book

Well, it's official, I'm writing a book! I decided to take the Tea Time concept, and for the next year, as I'm doing Tea Time with my own daughters I will give it a little more forethought as far as what we are talking about, and I'll just write it all down. I will turn it into a Tea Time devotional book for busy moms who want to be intentional with sharing God with their daughters.  I started recording our tea time conversations 2 weeks ago, and I've got my mom on the job of keeping me accountable and reviewing my work. Oh, and my husband has already been very helpful with guiding me through the publisher and marketing plans. I can already see that this book will be a family project, and will hopefully bless our family and many others for years to come.  Thank you for your prayers! Tink

Dear Zig (Ziglar),

Dear Zig, Thank you for the legacy of love, service, dedication, positivity, passion, and enthusiasm you leave for many generations into the future to enjoy. Thank you for caring enough about us all to make it your passion to share your pearls of wisdom with us, and to help us be motivated and more successful. I know the lucky angels rejoiced when they got to escort you home, and your homecoming was surely a grand event. We all look forward to seeing you, someday, at the TOP. Sincerely, Tink Zig Ziglar will be remembered and missed by millions. In a world where it’s easy to forget how fortunate we are, and forget what a miraculous creation of God we are, we all need positive reminders. As Zig said, we need a “check up from the neck up”. What I personally appreciate most about Zig is that he was firmly committed

Extraordinary: That "aha" moment when God teaches you something new through a scripture you've seen before, and it's like he's speaking straight to you.  Today the verses that stood out to me and made me say "aha" was Psalm 115: 2-18. These verses describe idols and idol worship, and idol worshippers.  I noticed the last verse especially. Psalm 115: 2-18 2  Why should the nations say, “ Where, now, is their God?” 3  But our  God is in the heavens; He  does whatever He pleases. 4  Their  idols are silver and gold, The  work of man’s hands. 5  They have mouths, but they  cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see; 6  They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell; 7  [ b ] They have hands, but they cannot feel; [ c ] They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with thei
