A spacious place
For 6 years we lived in a 1100 square feet house. We moved there for a purpose, to pay off debt. When we made that last student loan payment, and then the last bank loan payment, and then the last credit card payment, these were joyful times. We had made sacrifices in our living situation, but at least it was for a GOOD reason. We were tired of stacks of bills with nothing of value to balance them out, so we went gazelle intense for a few years and got rid of it. There will always be some sort of bills or debt to pay, but now all of our debt has equity behind it, and we just say NO to credit cards. The week after Christmas it feels so good that we didn't charge a cent. We paid all cash for everything we bought for Christmas (presents, food, traveling, etc), and had a very nice Christmas.
