Guess what?! We are starting to make soap so that YOU can have high quality, natural goat milk soaps from pure ingredients for soft and healthier skin!

A few months ago we ordered 4 goat milk soap bars online. A bar for him, a bar for her, a bar for our 2 little girls, and a bar for Molly, our dog, and we all loved it. For the little girls it was especially good. We had been using a very gentle soap for them that was probably better for babies or small kids, and not strong enough to fight bacteria and germs from daycare carried home by a 6 and 8 year old  playing in dirt, and being around other sick kids. As a result of not using the right soap for the girls, they probably got sick one too many times, and had some skin issues. Our 6 year old (Punkin), had a rash that we'd been trying to fight for weeks. We'd used creams and oils and anything we could think of, and we were just about to get a prescription for an antifungal cream when the soap came in the mail. And I'm so glad it did.

We used the new soap on little Punkin and within 3 days that stubborn rash was....well....gone. I was so surprised that the soap we were using on her skin made such a big difference! Also, their skin (and ours) was clean, fresh, smelled awesome, and was perfectly moisturized- not dry or cracked. We decided right then to learn how to make our own goat milk soap, because it wasn't easy to find in stores.

 It took months of R&D, but he did it. I told him he figured it out and started making the soap I'd be sure to tell the world about it, and offer it for sale, so here it is! Introducing the Knapp Family Soap Co, and our first bar, the Creamy Coffee Scrub!

We can take pre-orders but these bars will not be ready to ship until about February 10th. I'll post prices and pictures of our packaging soon (it's super cute), but if you leave a comment I'll get in touch with you and take your order! I'd estimate prices will be about $5 or $6 for a small bar. These bars here are a pretty good size, so they might be more.

Creamy Coffee Scrub: (10 bars of 12 are available for sale- 2 are already "pre-sold"). Contains espresso and espresso grounds for exfoliation. Has a hearty vanilla scent and a beautiful creamy swirl. Coffee used topically is great for CELLULITE! Mmmm can you smell that espresso in your morning shower?! Yeah!

Ordinary: Chaos at dinner time, plus 2 more kids Extraordinary: An unforgettable, precious little story I'll tell my kids (and their 2 cousins) for years. :) This past weekend I kept my sister's two little ones, "Tighty" and "Yaya", and it was definitely busy at our place. Simply Tea Time

Blessing # 593: Tea Time with my Girls !! Tea Time!!!!! (or the idea of it) I learned about Tea Time at my Aunt Wanda's funeral earlier this year. Several of her children and grandchildren brought up the tea times she had with them as their fondest memories with her. She used that time to talk to them about the Bible and guide them in Biblical principles and encourage them. Her funeral was a sad day, and I didn't expect to walk away with a treasure that would bless me and my family, but God works in mysterious ways.  Ok, so now the question is, what is Tea Time, and why do we do it? Tea time is quality mother daughter time when I put down the chore list (and my phone), and all of the other distractions of life, and I focus on the most important little treasures in my life. My baby girls.  We do tea time every Saturday at 5 pm. We have some sort of warm fruity tea (I'll add green tea if they are anxious or tired, or maybe chamomile if they are bouncing off

Update: Knapp Family Soap

Ok, so if you missed my last post, we started a soap business from home. We're making the soap for ourselves anyways, and the soap is so wonderful that we decided to make it available for sale. You'd have to know that my husband is a chef, and he's using his skills on making soap, so every bar is like a symphony of scent and texture. It's good soap. Here's what we did this weekend: We figured our our packaging, and a small free gift for every order. We did a cost analysis on ingredients and packaging so we could get prices right. This may sound boring to some of you, but if you know us....we both love this sort of thing. The Coffee scrub bar was re-named the Vanilla Latte Bar, since it smells more like vanilla (but has coffee in it). The price was set at $5 per bar for 4.5 ounces. Again, I just love this bar- my favorite so far. It's probably because it has coffee in it, and that's all it takes.  Husband (the Soap Chef and CEO) made a new soap bar
